Trekking or Butterfly Handle Bars

I never much liked using drop bars for touring. I much prefer mountain bike style bars but didn't think they looked great on my dedicated touring bike.  Then I discovered Trekking bars.  These offer a couple of installation options and have  many places to position your hands. I really like the wide grip for powering up hills. It can be challenging to fit a handle bar bag and other accessories, but with some trial and error, you'll find the perfect arrangement for all your accessories. The image with the bars installed is my personal bicycle with a similar set of bars.
