RDER - Suntour HONOR Rear Derailleur

This Suntour HONOR Rear Derailleur is in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically. All parts are original.

I am a fan of Suntour components. They are very well designed, strong and function smoothly. As a restorationist, I especially enjoy being able to completing break down these components to inspect and clean before reassembling. This model has the "Quick Cage" that allows the derailleur to be removed without breaking the chain or removing a pulley. I believe this to be an early release of the "second" style of the 2600 given the date stamp of 1972.

The HONOR was the reliable and inexpensive entry level derailleur found on many 10 speeds during the bike boom. Heavy, shiny, simple and oh, so classic!

All of our vintage parts have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, polished and reassembled with lubricants. Our prices reflect the value of the derailleur and the cost to disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble. It is ready to install.
