Seat Post Bolts

Seat Post Bolts hold the seat post tightly in the frame's seat-tube so it doesn't sink or swivel when you ride.  If the post is a poor fit, and/or the bolt is over tightened, the threads can be stripped.  If this happens you simply need a new one (and maybe a better fitting post...?) We carry both the hex-head and Allen-key style bolts. In most cases, either will fit your bike.  The Allen-key style is generally found on road bikes and is much sleeker while the hex-head is common on vintage bicycles of all makes and models.  The Allen-key style comes in different sizes, so measure the existing bolt to ensure you get the right size.  The hex-head is one size fits most.
