Suntour aR Short Cage Rear Derailleur

This Suntour aR Short Cage Rear Derailleur is in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically. All parts are original and there is only a few cosmetic blemishes. Spring tension and pulleys are in very good condition. The "aR" stencilling does not hold up to the strong water-based degreasing detergents and has been removed as a result.

I am a fan of Suntour components. They are very well designed, strong and function smoothly. As a restorationist, I especially enjoy being able to completing break down these components to inspect and clean before reassembling.

This derailleur would be great on a vintage road bike.

All of our vintage parts have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, polished and reassembled with lubricants. They are ready to install.
