Earring: July Butterfly

This is our July Earring featuring a Butterfly as a symbol of those hot summer days when butterflies emerge and freely take to the air to enjoy their time in the sun.  The mauve Swarovski® bicone crystal bead represents the purple colour of the Mallow flowers that bloom during summers peak.

We do have others to choose from; to mark the passing of the months with a unique look.  We are working towards a unique earring for each month of the year. Check back often to see what's available :)

Each earring is handmade from a single silver bicycle chain link and a butterfly punched from recycled inner tube. Double the bicycle goodness. These earrings measure 55 mm (~2 1/8") from the arc of the fish hook ear wire. The findings (hooks, wires, etc.) are nickel free.

As these are hand made from upcycled bicycle parts, each pair will vary sightly. (e.g the brand of bicycle chain may vary, slight 2-5mm variation in length of a pair, etc.)
