This tire has a staggered smooth centerline that minimizes road resistance. Continuous channels  allow for water to escape from beneath the tread improving traction in wet conditions. Diamond shape outer tread grips loose surfaces increasing stability in all directions. This 700c is a standard "road" size tire which is a common tire size on today's road bikes. However, this tire has the width and profile familiar on vintage bicycles.

CYT or Chaoyang tire is one of the largest manufacture of bicycles tires at about 40,000,000 sets of bicycle tires annually. They are a good quality, fairly priced tire for everyday riding.
